In response to the global pandemic, the artist Tom Croft offered to paint key worker's portraits in a post on Instagram. This initiative became very popular with artists who offered to paint the portraits of people working on the front line in the fight against the coronavirus. I offered to paint a portrait for free and was put in contact with a young doctor from Glasgow who is putting herself in danger every time she goes to work. The painting was finished and sent up to Scotland where it will be hung in her parent's home.
